On April 23-24, our University hosted the International Spring School and the International Scientific Conference on « European Dimensions of Sustainable Development» within the framework of the implementation of the European Union Erasmus + Jean Monnet Program FoodPro Department (# 587488-EPP-1-2017-1-UA- EPPJMO-CHAIR) and Jean Monnet EcoPro Module (# 574796-EPP-1-2016-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE).
The event was organized by the National University of Food Technology (project developer) and the national office of Erasmus + in Ukraine.
More than 120 people from different cities of Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Sweden and Germany joined the work of the school and the conference, among them representatives of the teaching staff and students, business and public organizations.
Within the framework of the activities, about 50 reports on topical issues of the European Sustainable Development Strategy, Cyclical Economy, Economic, Social and Environmental Challenges to Sustainable Development were presented. According to the unanimous opinion of the participants, the event significantly enriched them with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding modern approaches to the EU sustainable development strategy and challenges in this area for Ukraine.
