Assistant Professor of the Department of Humanities Olga Kotsyubanskaya participated in the International Scientific Conference «Pontica et Caucasica II. An Interdisciplinary Study of the Antiquities of the Black Sea» held on May 14-17 at the University of Warsaw’s History Department.
Our teacher’s report was devoted to the food culture of the Ukrainian Pontic littoral in the context of interdisciplinary research. The generous and multicolored history of the region – Scythian-Sarmatian days, antiquity, Byzantium, the Golden Horde, over 300 years of Turkish domination, Bulgarian, Greek, German and Dutch migrants, and the history of Ukrainian Cossacks – has always attracted attention of scientists.
