Lecturers of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Business, Doctor of Economics, Professor Irina Antonenko, Associate Professors Olena Rosmetova and Olena Kharchenko took part in the international internship “Strategic Partnership of Ukraine with the EU in the field of education and science”, where they got acquainted with the European experience in organizing scientific activities, publishing articles in international scientometric bases data, in particular, Scopus and Web of Science, peculiarities of the organization of the educational process of the universities of Slovakia: Prešov University (Prešov), University PI Shafarik (Kosice), Central European University (Skályca), Technical University (Kosice), visited the “Merkur“ Academy of Professional Education in the High Tatras tourist destination.
Also, as part of the internship, the teachers took part in the international scientific-practical conference “Tourism of the 21st Century: Global Challenges and Civilization Values” held in Prešov. The conference discussed the strategic directions and key trends of tourism development in the 21st century, the use of Agile management methods in the tourism business, strategic partnerships in the field of hospitality, innovative restaurant technologies and many others.
