The year of study in Germany has been a valuable and rich experience for me, which has significantly expanded my professional and language skills. The teachers are friendly and open, which creates a comfortable atmosphere for learning new material. Lectures contain a lot of relevant information, and group projects help develop practical skills and teamwork. At the same time, studying within the framework of the exchange program was quite a difficult task due to overlapping schedules – both at the NUCT and at the university in Germany. Due to the difference in semesters and the duration of the courses (some disciplines last six months, others a whole year), I had to come to terms with the fact that I had to combine subjects that usually require sequential study. Practical classes are held in a more flexible format than I was used to before: for example, sensory analysis takes place without lab coats and protocols, which allowed me to see the features and specifics of studying here. Student life in Heisenheim is active and diverse, with regular cultural events, meetings and celebrations, which creates a friendly atmosphere and promotes communication with interesting people. The city of Heisenheim itself is small, comfortable to live in. A multicultural environment has formed here, where, in addition to foreign students, many young Germans speak English well, which facilitates communication. In addition, the German language courses I attended significantly improved my language skills and helped me better understand the local culture. There were some everyday difficulties, including misunderstandings in shops, at the beginning, but over time everything became much easier. Overall, this year was a combination of academic challenges and new opportunities, which contributed to my professional and personal development. The friendly atmosphere, interesting acquaintances and active student life helped me adapt and feel more confident in a new environment. This experience significantly broadened my worldview and became an important stage in my academic journey.
