It is part of the integrated scientific information environment SciVerse. The National University of Food Technologies ranks 45th among Ukrainian higher education institutions.

The ranking has been developed for the nineteenth consecutive year by the Center for International Projects “Euroosvita”, in collaboration with the international expert group IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence.
According to the compilers, this year’s ranking considers current trends in higher education development, which is undergoing deep transformation through reforms and suffering significant losses due to the full-scale military invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

UniRank is an international non-academic ranking that assesses the web presence and popularity of universities worldwide.
The National University of Food Technologies ranks 35th among Ukrainian universities.
The 2025 UniRank ranking includes 190 Ukrainian higher education institutions that meet the following criteria:
– Officially chartered, licensed, or accredited by the appropriate Ukrainian higher education organization;
– Offering at least a three-year bachelor’s degree, postgraduate master’s, or doctoral degree;
– Delivering courses mainly in a traditional, face-to-face format.
Webometrics is a world university ranking system that evaluates the online presence and visibility of universities.
The ranking has been published twice a year (January and July) since 2004 by the Cybermetrics Lab of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), under the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain.
It began with 6,000 institutions and now evaluates nearly 32,000 higher education institutions globally.
The methodology is based on a combination of web metrics and bibliometric indicators from reliable sources such as Majestic, Google Scholar, and Scimago-Scopus.
In this ranking, the National University of Food Technologies is ranked 39th among Ukrainian HEIs and 4759th globally.
Scimago Institution Rankings is a global ranking of research institutions, published since 2009 by the SCImago research group, which includes several Spanish universities and research centers.
They also produce the annual SIR Global Report. The ranking covers five sectors: government, healthcare, higher education, private sector, and others.
The ranking position of a university or research institution is based exclusively on publications indexed in the Scopus scientific database.
The National University of Food Technologies is ranked 39th overall among 61 Ukrainian higher education institutions in this ranking.
National H–index Ranking is a national ranking of research organizations and scientists within the country. It is based on the Hirsch index (H-index) from Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, divided by two.
The National University of Food Technologies is ranked 66th in this national ranking.

The ranking evaluates universities’ contributions to interdisciplinary science using 11 carefully calibrated performance indicators across three key dimensions, each representing a stage in the research project lifecycle:
– Inputs (funding),
– Process (success metrics, resources, administrative support, and advancement), and
– Outputs (publications, research quality, and reputation).
The 2025 edition includes 749 universities from 92 countries and territories. Among them are 11 Ukrainian universities, including only three from Kyiv, one of which is NUFT.
This is the first attempt to assess the integration of knowledge, traditions, and processes across multiple disciplines — either through collaboration among scientists from various fields or through a single academic approach applied across multiple disciplines.
This year, the ranking processed 157 million citations and 18 million research publications, sourced from the Elsevier Scopus database and covering 30,000 peer-reviewed journals indexed between 2019 and 2023.
It also included responses from 20,000 researchers worldwide who participated in the WUR/ISR data collection.
Only data from high-level scientific fields — computer science, engineering, life sciences, and physical sciences — were included.

It is a subsidiary of Global Scholarships, a respected scholarship database recognized by such prestigious U.S. institutions as the University of Pennsylvania, University of California, Berkeley, University of Southern California, Georgetown University, Texas A&M University, Kent State University, and Elmhurst University.
In 2025, the National University of Food Technologies (NUFT) ranked:
– 4313th in the world and
– 1275th in Europe,
according to the SAA Best University Rankings, placing it in the 51st percentile.
Among Ukrainian universities, NUFT ranked 35th.
In the SAA Best Value University Rankings (Best Price-Quality Ratio), NUFT ranked:
– 3647th in the world (43rd percentile),
– 1076th in Europe (43rd percentile), and
– 23rd in Ukraine.
