I sincerely congratulate the students and professors of the National University of Nutrition Technologies! For almost a month and a half I have the opportunity to study abroad and I intend to share with you the news from my life and study at University of Szczecin in Poland. The learning process does not give you anything to relax or to miss, because I attend very interesting lectures and practical tasks. And also, I have taken part in the conference “Economy, Management, Environment”.
Now let’s talk more about it, so I return to teaching methods in Poland. So all my lectures and practical classes are held with other students from different parts of the world from Erasmus +. Everyone here is individuality, has his knowledge of English, so we try to adapt to the accents and understand each other. A very good example of the development of communication was provided by the class of Project Management last week. The teacher has divided the group into two teams and we have chosen two leaders. I, along with a guy from Spain, were leaders in our team. The task – separating from the team, build something interesting and difficult for the team – rivals. So, me and guy from Spain, recently met, found a common language, combined our efforts and built a house for rivals. The opposing team – leaders built for us, and then we changed places and saw what was prepared for the teams. At that time, no participant from the two teams had seen the houses. The task of the leaders was to explain to their team how to build a house that had been prepared by a rival team. However, we could only use social networks, no communication. Conclusion: in the 30 minutes of the class, we-leaders became eyes, and our team – hands and won the team of rivals. It was a great practice for fast co-operation with people, a common language and leadership achievements were found.
Also, I am really surprised at the fact that teachers encourage Erasmus students + to participate in conferences. It was proposed to become a participant in the conference related to management, business negotiation and economics. At first, I was very worried, because this is the first experience of presentation to international students and professors. I hesitated, but I want to become a true manager and have all the skills to succeed in this area. So, I have chosen an interesting topic “Features of Business Negotiations in Countries like Ukraine, Poland and France,” and spoke with this information on April 10. My speech took 7-10 minutes, and then I defended my presentation adequately, answering the questions of the teachers. This was a very important step, which gave me a lot of courage and skills for future development in this direction.
Right now, I plan to take part in some of the projects proposed by the university and would like to share this with you very soon!
