On 12.01.2012, Certificate No. 36 was received, confirming that at the regular meeting of the Executive Committee of the Black Sea Region University Network on June 9, 2011, the National University of Food Technologies was admitted to the ranks of this international organization.

The Black Sea Region University Network includes prominent academic communities, well-known universities in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Ukraine. Within the framework of this academic network, a number of research projects funded by the EU are being implemented, in particular on the greening of production in the Black Sea regions. Our university is particularly interested in developing scientific topics related to the development of functional and therapeutic and prophylactic products based on unique plant raw materials of the Black Sea region.

Membership in the Network of Universities of the Black Sea Region, together with leading Turkish universities, will allow us to establish ties with Turkish universities with the subsequent accreditation of our educational programs in this country and thereby enter the Turkish educational market.
