University Rector Professor S.Ivanov received the Director of the Research Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics (Warsaw, Poland)

University Rector Professor S.Ivanov received the Director of the Research Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics (Warsaw, Poland) to discuss plans on the future development of integration ties and to sign an agreement on the joint activities.

The agreement provides an extensive interaction between our university and the Research Institute of Agriculture and Food Economy in the areas of agro-economical sciences and food industry economics, joint research groups, information sharing and joint publication of research papers, monographs, etc.

International Students' scientific Conference took place on the NUFT premises November, 9. The problems of packing industry became major issue of the conference.

Among the honorary guests were:
Institute of Informational Technology of the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science Deputy Director Kazimir Levkovsky, Ukraine Packing Club President, ‘Packaging’ editor in chief Valery Krivoshei, NTUU "KPI" Printing Institute Director Peter Kirichko and Sandora company representative.

International Students? Works Contest results were voiced at the conference. The works were concerned on main issues of the packaging industry.
A roundtable for leaders of student papers and guests was held after the conference.

28.10.2010. University president received working group to sign the constituent documents concerning forming International Consortium.

Acting Rector received a working group of representatives from Szczecin University (Poland), Vilnius University (Lithuania) and World Economy Institute (Ukraine). The aim of the meeting was to sign an International Consortium Foundation Agreement. Leading scientists from the above universities formed the Consortium. The main object of the International Consortium is to prepare the application and receive EU grand in the 7th Framework Programme (Marie Curie project) and in case of positive decision of the application to execute this project conjointly. The project's working name is «PRORES». The project will purpose the scientific basis elaboration for proecological restructuring of enterprises in order to form additional job places. NUFT Acting Rector S.Ivanov, Head of Marketing Department Director of Ukrainian group International Consortium T. Mostenska and NUFT Vice Rector, Assoc. Professor Y.Zasyadko represented the Ukrainian side.

 

The discussion had been lasting for two hours. A wide spectrum of problems related to the organizational support of scientific research scientific-methodological questions has been discussed. The guests highly appreciated the level of NUFT's scientific research. They congratulated the university staff on the University anniversary. Renowned guests delivered a greeting testimonial from Szczecin University President to Professor S. Ivanov as a token of honor. Successful execution of «PRORES» project should become a hitch on the way of Ukrainian integration towards the European scientific-educational area.

  

26.10.2010. NUFT Acting President Professor S. Ivanov received Professor Herbert Bukkenhuskes (Germany).

NUFT Acting Rector Professor S. Ivanov received Professor Herbert Bukkenhuskes (Germany) EFFoST Secretary General on October, 26. The further cooperation development and collaboration between NUFT and EFFoST became a point of major importance during the discussion. At the centre of attention was EFFoST Executive Committee. Professor Herbert Bukkenhuskes a newly elected EFFoST Secretary General and Executive Committee member held a speech on behalf of this organization. Bukkenhuskes expressed an opinion of the EFFoST Executive Committee to conduct the forthcoming EFFoST European Congress on the NUFT premises. He invited Rector S. Ivanov to consider the prospective of NUFT acting as a host University of the Congress. On top of this he voiced the idea to establish an International Consortium comprising universities from Germany, England, Netherlands and Ukraine aiming at the application for the EU financed projects. Rector S.Ivanov expressed his gratitude for a great attention towards our university on part of EFFoST and also expressed our readiness to join International consortium including those shown about. He also assured Herbert Bukkenhuskes that support and problem assistance, concerning EFFoST Congress conducting will be given. Herbert Bukkenhuskes on his side guaranteed that EFFoST Executive Committee will support NUFT candidature, since the members of EFFoST Executive Committee well informed of the NUFT’s scientific and methodological activity as EFFoST member, EHEDG Ukrainian regional group activity and participation of our scientists in the 1st and 2nd European Congress.
