The ISEKI-Food Association (IFA) is implementing the outcomes of the past ISEKI_Food project and soon new tools and activities will be available to all IFA members to improve the Higher Education, Research and industry interaction to allow the development of an innovative and sustainable food value chain.
We look forward to meet you all in Vienna at the 4th International ISEKI-Food conference (http://www.isekiconferences.com/vienna2016/), 6-8 July 2016. This event will be complemented by various interesting training and networking initiatives and we look forward to your contribution and participation.

Agreement of cooperation between NUFT and University of Opole
December 14, 2015 National University of Food Technologies and University of Opole (Poland) signed an Agreement to elaborate cooperation in the field of joint research, training of young professionals, preparation and publication of research results in scientific journals.
Memorandum of agreement between National University of Food Technologies and Club for UNESCO of Piraeus & Islands
National University of Food Technologies and Club for UNESCO of Piraeus & Islands (Greece, Nikaia) reached an agreement to elaborate cooperation in the field of higher education, cultural exchange and academic mobility, joint preparation and publication of scientific projects etc. Our University will cooperate with the leading Greek Universities – Agricultural University of Athens and University of Piraeus.
DECATHLON Stakeholder webinars
On behalf of the DECATHLON team (http://www.decathlon-project.eu/) we are pleased to invite you to the Stakeholders Webinars with three sessions on Customs Issues, Food Pathogens, and GMOs. Information on the webinars is provided in the invitation below.
The webinar aims of bringing together relevant stakeholders from industry, academia, inspection services and (enforcement) laboratories as well as policy-makers, to jointly work on the development of new or improved methods for the field of food pathogens, traceability of GMOs, and customs issues.
It would be a great pleasure to have your participation and your help in disseminating this webinar (invitation below) to your network would also be greatly appreciated.
Participation in the webinar is free of charge, although registration is required prior to the event date and the number of participation is limited. The deadline for registrations is 26th November 2015.

Following the first round of DECATHLON‘s stakeholder consultation actions that has been successfully conducted earlier this year, the second round of DECATHLON stakeholders webinars will be held in November and December 2015.
The three webinars are organized by the project DECATHLON with the aim of bringing together relevant stakeholders from industry, academia, inspection services and (enforcement) laboratories as well as policy-makers, to jointly work on the development of new or improved methods for the field of food pathogens, traceability of GMOs, and customs issues.

About DECATHLON: DECATHLON Project (www.decathlon-project.eu/) is an initiative funded by the 7th Research Framework Programme of the European Commission that aims to develop cost efficient advanced DNA-based methods for specific traceability issues and high level on-site applications. The project duration is 3 years (2013-2016).
